About The Role

At EKFB we’re shaping Infrastructure for a better tomorrow. All four of our partners (Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial and BAM) bring specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high speed rail projects.

We are currently recruiting for an Interface Coordinator to join our team based in Milton Keynes.The role as part of the Interface team is central to the wider EKFB team requiring technical support to the Head of Interfaces in end to end governance of Undertaking & Assurances.

 
In this role, you will monitor and govern SEm database to ensure plans and evidence are up to date and commitments can be complied with. Where applicable action for handover, discharge or variation. You will implement early engagement with U&A owners to ensure commitments can be met and complied with factoring in funding requirements with the client. You will also support with deep dives and detailed assurance checks utilising the HORACE platform for investigations and close out.

Part of this role is to support the Work Package Managers (WPM) to identify Undertakings and Assurances for their scope of works, as well as supporting on associated requirements, up to date induction material, training workshops and quarterly audits to ensure site teams are adhering to processes. You will be working on any potential / non-compliance investigation with lead meet the U&A incident reporting timeline of 48 hrs /15 days and 28 day close out and ensure lessons are shared through monthly client compliance meetings.

In addition, you will support ongoing U&A portal development and administration, keep Intranet page up to date. You will ensure all U&As are ready for Discharge or Handover as part of the Construction Assurance process. You will own queries with wider end users, manage day to day administration using SharePoint/BIMXtra and carry out EKFB training and audits as required.

 

About You

Key Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Knowledge of large-scale civil engineering projects.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Document Management Systems and awareness of GIS platforms.
  • Understanding of HS2 Act (desirable).
  • Awareness of the constraints/sensitivities from working in the rural environment.
  • You must hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
