About The Role

EKFB is a joint venture that brings together international, market leading expertise from four leading civil engineering and construction: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction and BAM Nuttal.
 
We're looking to recruit some Excavated Materials Engineers to join the project in Brackley. In this role you'll be required to monitor, review and validate reported volumes from both the Digital Earthworks platform and earthworks delivery team, logistics team and construction team. You will also have to liaise with site earthworks delivery team to resolve any operational inconsistency. 
 
You must ensure you update and report volumes onto the HS2 Materials Tracking Document as well as monitor, review, validate and amend volumes on the HS2 Summarised Earthworks Quantity Schedule. We need you to provide accurate checks and validation on earthworks production data and liaise with the delivery team and quality assurance team to assist with the collection of site information and records in order to facilitate compliance o the Materials Management Plan and Verification Report.
 
 

About You

Key Skills and Qualifications:
 
It is essential that you have experience in bulk earthworks, mining or quarrying and you must have full understanding of reporting and calculations of earthworks quantities.
 
The ideal candidate will be experienced in dealing with internal and external stakeholders and have knowledge of programmes, schedules and planning.
 
Ideally you will be experienced in operational delivery and working on large earthworks project environments. Ideally you'll also have an understanding of working within CL:AIRE Definition of Waste Code of Practice.
 
We'd like you to have experience of Materials Management Plans, Remediation Strategies and Verification Plans too. Knowledge of GIS is desirable.
