About The Role

EKFB is a joint venture that brings together international, market leading expertise from four leading civil engineer and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction and BAM Nuttall.

We’re looking for a Sustainability Analyst to join our Route Wide Environment Team to. This role will be primarily based from Milton Keynes, however regular travel to sites will be required. You must hold a full driving license and have access to a vehicle in order to be considered for this role.

As a Sustainability Analyst you will provide support to the EKFB Sustainability and Environment Teams to deliver the HS2 contract requirements relating to environmental management.
 
You will be required to track and identify sustainability data trends within EKFB, enabling you to work with Project Environment Teams to implement continual improvement and best practice across the EKFB projects. This will be used to Identify and implement opportunities for improvement, best practice and innovation to achieve cost, program efficiencies and risk mitigation. You will also generate and automate PowerBI dashboards, providing updates and presenting an ongoing program of improvement.
 
A key part of this role is to track legal changes and communicate back to the sustainability team and work with the supply chain to improve compliance and awareness.
 
You will act as a technical point of contact for other teams with relation to data management including coordinating API’s, databases and dashboard’s. You will also be in charge of reviewing monthly inspection audits and incident data to generate performance reports, identify trends and support implementation of effective change
 
You will need to attend workshops and meetings across the EKFB trace, both onsite and virtually and as and when required, supporting and attending route wide assurance, HS2 TAR, regulator visits and sustainability audits e.g. Audits PAS 2080, ISO 20400, ISO 14001, both onsite and virtually.
 
A key part of this role is to support the sustainability strategy and review monthly reports. This will require you to independently undertake various data, document reviews and parent company interface data to develop, coordinate and deliver the training and tracking process.

  • Ability to work under pressure and work to deadlines, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001, PAS 2080, BREEAM and Carbon Management techniques (preferable)
  • Preferably strong analytical and IT skills: experience of MS Excel and PowerBi (essential) and familiarity with cloud platforms and data science tools (e.g., AWS, Azure), ArcGIS, Suvery123 and software development (e.g. Python)
