About The Role

At EKFB (Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial and BAM) we’re shaping Infrastructure for a better tomorrow. All four of our partners bring specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing, and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high speed rail projects.

EKFB are looking for a Surveying Assistant to join the North Chilterns Area of the HS2 Joint Venture. The Survey Assistant will be required to assist Senior and Land Surveyors on site with some field works.

You will be required to assist in surveying operations such levelling and traverse runs, as-builts and topographical surveys, within the quality, health, safety and wellbeing standards of the Project.

It will involve using different types of survey equipment including GNSS, Total Stations and Precise Levels (all training will be provided), and collaborate with their maintenance (returning equipment to store and making sure kit is clean, dry and maintained to site standard). You would be willing to progress in the surveying engineering pathway and open to learn new related methodologies/software.

About You

  • Experience on large scale civils projects
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office 365 proficiently
  • Hold a CSCS card
  • Hold a full driving license
